Catholic social teaching respects the dignity of all workers and the right to collective bargaining with employers. At a Catholic school or college, these must be handled in such a way that the mission of Catholic education is not compromised, and that bargaining does not intrude on the rights of a religious institution to uphold Catholic moral teachings.
